The act of creating visual beauty is a transformative and inspirational way to learn more about who you are and how you want your life to be. Designing an Artful Life is a day-long workshop combining artistic expression with self discovery. Author and artist Mary Anne Radmacher will guide workshop participants through three powerful activities.
Three Powerful Activities for Designing an Artful Life
1. Artful Journaling. A journaling practice is a meaningful way to incorporate self care into your life while you document your ideas, your feelings, your dreams, your discoveries, and your experiences. Mary Anne will work with participants as they begin to develop a journaling practice that brings together writing, planning, found objects, and artful intrigue. Artful journaling incorporates art that anyone can articulate, regardless of your perception of your artistic skill. 2. Art for the Creatively Reluctant. Are you the person who hides in the kitchen while your friends play Pictionary? Do you believe that you could never express yourself through art? Mary Anne will help you dispel these beliefs as she guides you toward confidently believing that creativity is not only a part of each of us, but that it is an instrumental tool for living with intention. Focusing on a geometric formula that has its roots in ancient art, Mary Anne will help participants discover their inner artist. Especially for women who may feel reluctant to move forward with an artful activity, this practice can remove anxiety and free you to express yourself in fun and meaningful new ways. It is also a supportive and exciting process for those who are already confident in their artistic expression.
3. You U. Based on Mary Anne’s book Live Boldly, You University (You U) is your opportunity to design your best life. Mary Anne will walk participants through creating an entirely customized 30-day curriculum to inspire you to cultivate the qualities you want to draw into your daily life experience. She will also guide participants in understanding the steps and tools for implementing their curriculum daily for a life-long impact.

About Mary Anne
 Mary Anne Radmacher’s words and art travel the world to homes, hospitals, offices, and school rooms. Throughout her extensive entrepreneurial career, Mary Anne has demonstrated consistent green practices and expansive philanthropic and community involvement. Mary Anne enjoys teaching the benefits of a regular writing practice in the corporate context as well as to audiences ranging from preschool to prison. She believes a writing habit contributes to excellence and innovation in any environment from school room to board room to barbed prison walls.

Designing an Artful Life will be held at the beautiful Coeur d’Alene Resort in Coeur d’Alene, ID. Nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains on the shores of one of the most breathtaking lakes in the nation, this venue is certain to inspire you on your journey to Designing an Artful Life!
